GUENTER HAAS – BIOGRAPHIE: After his studies at the Hamburg-conservatory, Guenter became a well-known guitar-player. He worked for countless artists like Udo Lindenberg, Sarah Brightman, Cyndi Lauper, Narada Michael Walden, Earth, Wind + Fire, Scotty Moore, Dante Thomas, DJ Antoine, Denis The Menace, just to name a few. Besides being a very busy guitar-player, Guenter is working constantly in his studio in Hamburg. He released his music worldwide on numerous compilations. „Tales Of A Broken Planet“ is Guenter’s first solo-album, he composed and produced the whole album by himself. The title predicts the album: it’s not a typical lounge or „Cafe del Mar” album, Guenter couldn’t close his eyes in the last years and therefore the album reflects his experiences living in this „broken“ world. Because this kind of genre is not existing, yet, Guenter „invented“ his very own genre, he calls it „mystic-lounge“. Latin, ethno, rock, pop, ambient, film music and a lot of other styles are merging into his own and very personal melange.
